Virginia-based multi-instrumentalist Rick Eldridge has been delighting audiences with his versatile musicianship for 45 years. While performing in New Orleans with the famous Dukes of Dixieland, he was dubbed Banjo Rick. Rick has been leading Dixieland Jazz bands since 2001, playing everywhere from Busch Gardens to the Library of Congress; his current band is called The Steamboaters. The ultimate Mardi Gras party band, The Steamboaters can adjust in size from three to six pieces, performing onstage, strolling, or a combination. Joyful “Second Line” parades are one of their specialties, certain to put smiles on faces and set toes tapping!
