Phil Kominski is the guitarist and voice of the Lloyd Dobler Effect (LDE) as well as one half of the folk duo, The Bubbas. He is a musician who strives perform any song request asked of him, no matter the genre, on the spot. As a founding member of LDE, Phil has toured the world (Japan, Singapore, Afghanistan, Africa, UAE, Guam, Qatar, Kyrgijthan, Bahrain, Diego Garcia and most of the 50 states including Hawaii). He has opened for a wealth of famous musicians (Eminem, Goo Goo Dolls, Kansas, Santana, Grouplove, etc). He has recorded with legends (Gary Katz, Camille Barbone, Elliott Randal, etc). He has performed over 4000 shows from venues as small as a pea (sandwiched between two Golden Tee machines at a Green Turtle) to RFK Stadium in Washington, DC (65,000 people in attendance). He has been signed to two record labels. He has written over 220 songs and released 18 CDS. Phil’s cover song list features over
4000 songs and is always growing.
Victor Gagnon is a fiddle player from upstate New York. He spends the majority of his days touring all over the U.S. and Canada. Now residing in Washington, DC, he has shared the stage with the likes of Charlie Daniels, Tim McGraw, Eddie Money, The Roots, Jamie Lynn Spears, Eileen Ivers, Natalie MacMaster and many more. He is best known for his 10+ year touring schedule with Celtic rock band Seven Nations. Victor has not only become a familiar face but a staple in the Irish/Scottish American festival circuit. His love and respect for traditional music shines through in his playing but is blended with many different styles, including classical, blues, rock, country and bluegrass. His mutt-like playing style blends together to form a unique style full of charisma.
