Capital Fife and Drum has been providing patriotic music to the Washington, DC, region for over twenty years. With their precision drills and marching, they provide historic perspective as well as unique musical entertainment. Members of this talented group have performed at the White House, the Kennedy Center, Constitution Hall, Mount Vernon, the Verizon Center and the Library of Congress.
Joining the ranks of the premiere service bands in our Nation’s Capital, is Capital Band. Their introduction to the Washington DC music scene began in 1992, as they fulfilled the role of the President’s Own Marine Band in the opening scene of the movie, A Few Good Men. Composed of top musicians who have performed in venues such as the Kennedy Center and the White House, the up to 40 member scarlet – coated band offers a diverse selection of performing units with a wide ranging repertoire.
