CAPITAL COUNTRY
Capital Country is simply a great show of your favorite country music including classics from the era of Johnny Cash & Willy Nelson through the “Luke’s” and modern pop-country. With a strong list of 90’s country, line dancing classics, modern hits, and family tradition sing-a-longs, Capital Country can do a whole night from Texas to Tennessee but are also be able to mix in any additional songs from their extensive song list.
Capital Effect have been full time touring musicians for over two decades, having performed in over forty states and thirteen countries opening for major acts and putting on packed performances. They now perform over 85 weddings, private events and parties every year in the DMV and around the country.
Besides their country list, they boast a cover song repertoire of over 1000 songs that includes all genres.
WHAT MAKES CAPITAL COUNTRY DIFFERENT:
One thing that really sets the band apart is their top-of-the-line equipment and set up configuration. Unlike any other band in the area, they can produce a huge sound with a minimal footprint. With all-electric drums, in-ear monitors, backing tracks, zero on-stage amplifiers, and professional PA equipment, they produce the sound of a 7-12 piece band in an area as small as a DJ set up.
No piercing crashing cymbals or loud guitar amps, not able to hear the vocals or microphone feedback, just a perfectly mixed sound small enough for a private basement or art gallery, or with the ability to rock a full stage at the Anthem (6,000 seat concert venue). The band has played small venues like Army Navy Club, Fathom Gallery, and Toolbox Studio with incredible audio results.
Another benefit is a faster, smoother load-in/load-out with less equipment, little to no sound check time, and fewer people to manage.
