CAPITAL EFFECT 80's EXPERIENCE

The Capital Effect 80’s experience is simply a great show of your favorite 80’s music including one-hit-wonders, Brit rock, Synth-pop, new wave, hair bands and even hip hop hits. Costumes included and any additional songs from their extensive song list can be added with ease.

Capital Effect are the members of Lloyd Dobler Effect and have been full time touring musicians for over two decades, having performed in over forty states and thirteen countries. These rock n’ rollers have opened for The Goo Goo Dolls, Maroon 5, Kansas, and played sold out shows for packed audiences. They now perform over 75 weddings and private events every year as a  full band, duo/trio and jazz events.

They boast a cover song repertoire of over 1000 songs that includes all genres.  The band works with you to pick what artists and songs you like and happy to learn just about anything to make the night perfect and requests are always a big hit.

At weddings, Chris and the band handle all of the reception live music, the Deejaying, the emceeing, band lighting and PA rental requirements.  They also has the ability to perform ceremony music as solo, duo, or trio and/or live music during the cocktail hour.

WHAT MAKES CAPITAL EFFECT DIFFERENT:
One thing that really sets the band apart is their top-of-the-line equipment and set up configuration. Unlike any other band in the area, they can produce a huge sound with a minimal footprint. With all-electric drums, in-ear monitors, backing tracks, zero on-stage amplifiers, and professional PA equipment, they produce the sound of a 7-10 piece band in an area as small as a DJ set up.

No piercing crashing cymbals or loud guitar amps, not able to hear the vocals or microphone feedback, just a perfectly mixed sound small enough for a private basement or art gallery, or with the ability to rock a full stage at the Anthem (6,000 seat concert venue). The band has played small venues like Army Navy Club, Fathom Gallery, and Toolbox Studio with incredible audio results.
