CAPITAL EFFECT JAZZ

Capital Effect Jazz  is a group of some of DC’s finest musicians who perform just about any song in a jazzy format. The members of the Lloyd Dobler Effect and now Capital Effect have been playing weddings, engagement parties, corporate events, nightclubs, parades, concerts, and music festivals locally, nationally and internationally since 2003.

What makes Capital Jazz different is that they can start off or play the entire show instrumentally doing standard jazz songs, rock songs, popular melodies but can also provide vocals and transition the night into popular cover songs and sing-alongs if desired.

With 20 years of experience the group knows thousands of songs and have played just about every venue in the DMV, Baltimore, and Richmond areas. They are also able to provide full sound production and/or lights so you’re able to get a full package from one group that will show up on time, be professional and get the entire job done right for you. Duo, Trio, Quartet, and Quintet versions of the band are available.
