CAPITAL EFFECT

Capital Effect have been full time touring musicians for over two decades, having performed in over forty states and thirteen countries opening for major acts and putting on packed performances.  They now perform over 85 weddings, private events and parties every year in the DMV and around the country.

They boast a cover song repertoire of over 1000 songs that includes all genres and incorporate medleys to keep the music moving and feature more of the songs you want to hear.  Along with classic & modern pop/dance music, they have a larger-than-average list of 80’s, 90’s, country, and Irish music that can be incorporated. The band works with you to pick artists and songs and are happy to learn just about anything to make the night perfect. Requests are always a big hit.

WHAT MAKES CAPITAL EFFECT DIFFERENT:
One thing that really sets the band apart is their top-of-the-line equipment and set up configuration. Unlike any other band in the area, they can produce a huge sound with a minimal footprint. With all-electric drums, in-ear monitors, backing tracks, zero on-stage amplifiers, and top-of-the-line PA equipment, they produce the sound of a 7-10 piece band in an area as small as a DJ set up.

No piercing crashing cymbals or loud guitar amps, not able to hear the vocals or microphone feedback, just a perfectly mixed sound small enough for a private basement or art gallery, or with the ability to rock a full stage at the Anthem (6,000 seat concert venue). They handle all live music, deejaying and MC needs when applicable, and can accommodate multiple set-ups for cocktail hour & ceremonies with wireless microphones
