Jill started DJing in 2003 for Associated Consultants, for schools, night clubs, weddings & Corporate events! She has been the DJ for Linedanceforyou , an organization that teaches line dances of all styles, since 2006, which serves the Northern Va. area on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. (linedance4you.com)
Because Jill is also a professional musician, she is made constantly aware of all genres of music, by engaging with the public 7 days a week. She can easily play a night of latino, trap, country, oldies and current dance tunes but also has a children’s library of songs for school events.
Jill is also the piano player in the hottest band in DC, Doctors Orders. She has played at almost every venue in the area and worked with many planners/event planners so she has so much experience to offer.
The added bonus is her ability to act as a musician for the Ceremony or Cocktail hour if needed and then can transition over to a DJ for the reception!

DJ Jill is the best!
DJ Jill was perfect at our wedding! All the ceremony music was perfectly timed, and she kept us dancing at the reception. My Man of Honor mentioned a band that we love in his toast, and so Jill played a song by them as a little surprise after the last dance. That was so thoughtful and special and memorable, I love that attention to detail. For my fellow millennials who don't like talking on the phone, she got all our information through an email questionnaire, which is great since I could attach Spotify links to specific songs. We had to reschedule our wedding a number of times due to Covid, and Bialek's Music was great at accommodating us. Would very much recommend Bialek's Music and DJ Jill!
I worked with Bialeks music to find a DJ and pianist for my June 2018 wedding at Top of the Town. I told Bialeks I was specifically looking for a DJ who could also play live music for my ceremony and cocktail hour and dj the reception. Bialeks sent me a few different multi-talented DJ's on their list and I selected Jill Parsons. Jill plays piano and DJ's. Jill was so easy to work with and made the music the easiest part of my wedding planning. We set up a phone call to discuss what I was looking for and I provided Jill with a list of songs I wanted played during the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Jill kept the dance floor going all evening, many guests commented that they had not been to wedding before where the dance floor was packed the entire time. Jill also went above and beyond to work with my family friend to coordinate accompanying her singing during our ceremony. Bialeks was easy to work with but it was Jill who really impressed us!

Jill Parsons DJ’d our wedding in October. My husband and I knew Jill for several years before we got married last year, and we felt like our shared experiences with her would make her a perfect fit to DJ our wedding. Jill met with us prior to the wedding to discuss what we wanted for our reception. Not only was the dancing portion of the reception exactly what we wanted, but parts of it that we never considered were executed so thoughtfully by Jill. We hadn’t discussed the dinner music, but everything she chose was perfect. She made sure we stayed on schedule and even helped with setup for our ceremony music which was performed by our close friends. Looking back, we had no worries about the music or reception because we knew Jill would do a great job, and we’re so grateful that we were able to enjoy ourselves instead of feel preoccupied with what could possibly go wrong. Our guests raved about her after, as did the managers at our venue. I highly recommend Jill as a DJ and performer, she made our day so special.

Absolutely recommend! DJ Jill with Bialek’s Music was perfect–she was personable, professional, and musical. During the booking process, Bialek’s Music was transparent in their services and prices and helped us find what suited our needs. For our 70 person wedding, we opted to let Bialek’s Music choose the DJ because we didn’t have a preference for any of the DJs. We feel so fortunate to have had DJ Jill assigned to our wedding. A month before the wedding, DJ Jill had us fill out a brief questionnaire that did not overwhelm us and she helped us understand how she would work with our other vendors, such as coming early to provide mics at the altar and announce to our guests that this was an unplugged ceremony (before the officiant walked down the aisle). We provided her with our unique cuts/versions of the different dances (e.g., first dance, father-daughter, mother-son) and DJ Jill made sure they were playable/of sufficient quality to not sound bad on the speakers. During dinner, DJ Jill surprised us by lightly playing background music on the piano–beautifully, we might add!--on the grand piano! It was the perfect, classy touch to our reception that we did not know we needed. Everyone commented on how beautifully she played and how we did well to hire a pianist (little did we know we had!). During dancing, DJ Jill mc’d and dj’d the different dances seamlessly. No awkward silences here. She closed out the night by playing well-suited songs on the dance floor and reading the room. You really can’t go wrong with DJ Jill–she knows what she’s doing and does it well, all with a friendly smile! We also rented a photobooth with Bialek’s Music and it was easy, customizable, and fun!

Jill Rocks!
Jill was an absolutely phenomenal DJ for our wedding! She expertly handled the flow of the entire event, including the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and of course the dancing. She brought all her own equipment to play music in all of the spaces and provided mics for everyone who had speeches. She did a fantastic job of keeping the event moving along and all of the transitions throughout the evening were seamless.
The dance floor was the highlight of our wedding. She kept the hits playing all night long and the dance floor was packed from start to finish. We were very happy with Jill’s performance and would highly recommend her for your next event!

Bialek's Music was exactly what we wanted for our wedding day entertainment! The process of choosing a DJ was so easy and we picked a great one with Jill, who was super responsive and played most of the songs on our list (and the ones that weren't on our list fit right in with our style and what the guests wanted). She was also able to provide beautiful live ceremony music for us on her keyboard. The only snafu was with the photo booth addition which ended up not working, but the attendant was very accommodating and stayed and took pictures with personal cameras for the guests who wanted to pose with the props. Bialek's played a huge part in makin our wedding day amazingly unforgettable!

Our wedding was atypical and had many moving parts, including setting up for live music performances and covering music for more than one location, plus a video presentation. Jill was experienced, professional, responsive and flexible from the start and we would hire her again. Highly recommended!

DJ Jill was fantastic!! We had to change our ceremony location because of the weather and Jill quickly got everything ready for us. Jill really knows her stuff, is incredibly professional, and it's very clear she loves her job. Our wedding was not typical and Jill provided piano bar for people who wanted to perform live-- including me & many of my friends. We also had karaoke as an option for other guests. This was a huge hit and made the evening truly unforgettable. She kept everyone dancing on the floor until the very end, too! We were very happy with our day and would highly recommend Jill! You will be so happy you chose her
