About the Artist

DJ Mike was raised in an eclectic household, growing up listening to any genre from Disco to Country. He started his DJ career as a student of the Historic Fisk University in Nashville, TN.  From there, Mike was a campus favorite for private parties and campus events. Since then, Mike has performed in nightclubs and private events for over 13 years. He is a certified Audio Visual Technician, an experienced Audio Engineer, and a creative Lighting Designer. Mike prides himself on his professionalism with customer service, technical aptitude, and skill.  He specializes in mixing between genres, with clean and smooth transitions, which is why he is known as  “The Mixologist”. He is able to provide an energetic, musical experience to fit everyone’s taste in the room.  DJ Mike is a proud member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, Music Fraternity of America.

Life of the Party!

BIalek's Music was outstanding when it came to booking a DJ for our reception at the Smithsonian Natural History museum.

They were attentive, quick to answer questions and guide me through the process. They sent me a list of DJs to review and I picked my favorite to see if he was available.

DJ Stacc3 or DJ Mike was incredible! I had an international audience ranging from 10 years old - 75+... he hit the nail on the head and had them asking for an encore. He came with the whole setup; speakers, microphone, etc. When I asked him to make an announcement, he did not hesitate.

I couldn't recommend Bialek's and DJ Mike enough!

DJ Mike kept us dancing all night!

We hired a DJ and a photobooth through Bialek’s Music for our wedding. Chris helped us set up everything. He was prompt and courteous. Our only hiccup came with the photobooth. Before the wedding, we designed printouts for our guestbook and organized the props, set up, and overall layout. The issue came up on the wedding day. We thought the photobooth was coming with our DJ, but it was actually a third party. Our DJ took the lead and addressed the problem quickly with Chris. The photobooth and operator arrived well before our reception, but there was a moment in which we were not sure due to a communication error.

We chose DJ Mike for his style of blending genres and keeping the dancefloor full all night. Before the wedding, he found 30 minutes in a chaotic moment in his own life to meet with us and plan out the night briefly. He requested we develop a short playlist of must play songs, which he used as a basis for the entire night. The bride wanted to dance all night and DJ Mike made that happen. We highly recommend working with Bialek’s, particularly DJ Mike if you want a dance heavy party!

Mike was great to work with. He was on time and available throughout the process. I had an elaborate show that required him to do music ques and really understand how everything would go and que entrances. Mike never even blinked at my requests and was so helpful. I could not have pulled off a great day without him!

Dj Mike is EXCELLENT. Book him, you won’t regret it! It’s that simple! He Dj’d our wedding and did a stellar job, we were blown away. He has such a relaxed and professional demeanor and handled all of our requests perfectly. We have several different genres we wanted reflected in the music and he hit every single one. His transitions between songs were smooth and fun as you sometimes were pleasantly caught off guard by the next song. He also mc’d our reception on very short notice due to some complications with our original mc. He did an excellent job announcing tables for the buffet and keeping us moving through the program. We enjoyed every second of Dj Mike on the 1’s and 2’s and will ABSOLUTELY book him again in the future.
