DJ RYAN

I’m a business man and college graduate who is just now finding my real passion and calling – DJing  and producing Electronic Dance Music.  I’m based in Washington D.C. and I’m working to make my dreams of travelling the globe and playing dance music to thousands a reality.  My passion for dance music developed in the mid-90’s which led me to inquire into DJing as a hobby where I  got my start in 2003 playing for my fraternity parties.  After graduation, this college hobby grew and turned into playing regularly at nightlife venues in the DC area.

In 2011, I started dabbling into producing my own music where I finished my first unofficial remix of the song ‘Please Don’t Go’ with a friend of mine under the alias ‘322’.  Shortly after that my friend Joseph Valerio (aka DJ EPOC ) and I started producing some mashups/bootlegs under the alias TENFOOT ISLAND.  Since going our seperate ways I chose to expand my skillset by enrolling in Dubspot’s  Logic Pro Producer Certificate Program where i’ve continued to hone my sound and produce my own original tracks while also continuing to DJ at some of the leading EDM events in Washington D.C.

​I’ve played in front of crowds  small and large at clubs such as Ultrabar, EDEN lounge, Current/Rosebar, Lima, Josephine, Lotus and most notably for the world-renowned GLOW party – DC’s longest running EDM party. In addition to playing for several private celebrity events, I’ve played at every Winter Music Conference in Miami since 2010.
