Kara is a harpist in the greater D.C. and Baltimore area specializing in harp and soul. Kara has a passion for sharing harp music in new spaces and making classical music accessible, whether by playing traditional repertoire in modern venues or playing contemporary video game music in classical concert halls. She has played harp since 2005 and had classical training with master teacher, Hye-Yun Bennett. Kara’s soloist career highlights include playing at venues such as the Washington National Cathedral, the Howard Theater, the Capital One Hall, and more.
