On behalf of the American Heart Association and the 2012 Howard Country Heart Ball Team, thank you for graciously providing your time and services for this year’s event that was held on May 5th, 2012 at Turf Valley. Your Help was critical to helping us meet our goals. Our guest had a great time. The food, the atmosphere,the decor, the signage, and the music all received rave reviews. People are already talking about next year’s event.
Many of our guest were of Athena Shry the heart disease survivor at the heart ball who shared her Personal story of recovery.Funding the research and awareness campaigns provided by the American Heart Association helped to make dreams come true for this 19-year0old woman who had a heart transplant at 9 weeks old. Your generous donation at the event helped to raise more than $330,000 for the prevention of heart disease and stroke, the nation’s leading cause of death.
You played a great part in the success of our event. On behalf of the millions of people impacted each year by the heart disease and stroke, thank you again for your support!
