ISES Eventworld 2010
Eventworld kicked off with the leadership reception at Angel’s Rock Bar. 100 degree weather kept everyone inside where I was able to re-acquaint with all my international ISES buddies!
Here is newly engaged Katie Gold from Rentals Unlimited in Boston:
Canadian ISES President Eileen Bistrisky, me, and some other guy:
DC’s own former Board of Governor Lori Hill, looking Summer relaxed:
The education opening session kicked off with the best guitarist I’ve ever seen. Mike Rayburn and his dream of “What if”, and “Why Not”, really uplifted the room. After partying at the ISES lounge & Club Mex at the Power Plant, the next morning was intensive Social & Business Media.
Very intense morning so nap time from 1-3!
What a great room the Marriott Waterfront upgraded me to:
Up at 3:00, and Hayden Shaws “Come Together, Right Now” was an entertaining comparison of the Baby Boomer and Millenium Generations.
We chill and they multitask. They get more done, but not as well:
Met a new friend from Georgia, Ingrid Wiggberg, an Event Planner:
The Big Hair Search Party at the American Visionary Arts Museum produced Ray with the Elvis look, the DC Chapter, and Kate Buscher from Baltimore’s Puttin’ on the Ritz Catering:
Waking up at 7:30am the next day, Pam Moore and Sonny Morris told us
“What’s New In Entertainment.” I paid my $80, two night parking & adios!
